Explore Program

Who is the Explore program for?

High school students in Year 9 to 13 who are looking to build their core work skills and wanting explore the many options available to them after they graduate.

Why choose it?

The Explore program is designed to build confidence and basic work skills. It's an amazing opportunity to test the waters and find out more about the type of work that excites you (and the type of work that doesn't interest you).

You will gain valuable work experience within our safe and supportive Good Sammy social enterprises, including retail, hospitality, Containers for Change and warehousing. It's a great way to explore the world of possibilities that will be available to you once you graduate and build your confidence in a real work environment.

When does the program run?

Explore runs every term and you will attend work experience 1 day per week, for 10 weeks. 

What does it cost?

The course costs $60 for one semester.

Do students need support?

Students must be accompanied by an Educational Assistant (EA) whilst on the work experience placement.
