At Good Sammy, we’re all about creating opportunities that go way beyond our op-shops. 

Through our training and development programs, we support Western Australians with disability to build skills, grow confidence and take steps toward employment. 

From retail and logistics to customer service and admin, our programs help people with disability gain practical experience and learn what it takes to succeed in different workplace environments. 

It’s not just about getting a job. It’s about learning how to adapt, connect, and thrive on the job.

Discover Good Facts

• 173 people with disability completed a Good Sammy training program in 2023-24.  
• In 2024, 67 graduates earned over 100 certificates between them!
• So far this financial year, we’ve supported 23 people with disability into mainstream employment. 
• Our DRIVE Program is going strong with a 100% pass rate for stage one, Keys4Life (take a look below!)

In the driver’s seat: Good Sammy Graduate, Kayla! 💛

After starting with a few nerves, Kayla has worked hard to push through and has just completed her first driving lesson through our DRIVE program, supported by the Road Safety Commission of WA. 

Last year, Kayla also graduated from both the HYPE (now Work Ready) and Work Skills programs. 

“She can now see a future in the independence she yearns for,” says her mum, Leanne. 

This is why we do what we do. Building skills, confidence and opportunities for independence. Keep on cruising Kayla!
