Good Sammy is delighted to be a 2023 beneficiary of Channel 7 Telethon Trust!
A generous grant from Telethon will support Good Sammy to deliver traineeships in 2023 for 15 high school students with disability.
Through our Explore Work Program, students in Years 10-12 will participate in paid work experience, training and other opportunities. Graduates of the program will receive a certified traineeship in Retail, Business Administration or Supply Chain and the opportunity of future employment.
In partnership with schools, participating students gain critical skills and confidence within a supportive social enterprise environment as a pathway to employment.

The grant will enable Good Sammy to modernise its head office and recycling warehouse on Bannister Road to provide contemporary, accessible and inclusive facilities for all employees, and improved training and engagement areas for customers, students, families and visitors.
Good Sammy will fund a portion of project costs to complement the generous funding provided by Lotterywest.
