The Board of Good Sammy Enterprises (GSE) is very pleased to announce the appointment of Amanda Gell as Non-Executive Director effective from 1st February 2022.

Amanda has over 15 years consulting experience with PwC, both in Australia and London, including 7 years as Partner.

Amanda is currently Partner, PwC – Government Incentives and Grants WA with responsibility for advising her clients in respect of their investments in new projects and technologies and consulting on access to Government funding. Amanda’s experience also means she is very proficient in advising clients on appropriate risk and governance frameworks.

Amanda has strong commercial acumen across a variety of disciplines, including emerging technologies, IT, recycling and clean technology, engineering, manufacturing, mining and MedTech. As a PwC Partner, Amanda has particular strength in identifying risks and opportunities for her clients and introducing services and solutions from across the PwC network. Amanda has recently completed extensive data analytics training.

A compassionate and bold leader with high EQ, Amanda is focused on developing and mentoring others. Amanda is keenly aware of the importance of diversity, inclusion and wellbeing both in workplaces and in the community and is the Diversity, Inclusion and Wellbeing (DI&W) lead Partner for PwC Perth.

Amanda was also previously the Perth Partner lead for Disability engagement. Amanda’s involvement in, and understanding of, the need to drive more diverse and inclusive organisations and communities has become even more profound since the birth of her 2.5 year old daughter Grace who was born with a disability.

These skills and Amanda’s lived experience will be invaluable as the GSE Board prepares to govern during this next exciting phase of growth and to effectively manage various challenges and opportunities within the sector.

Amanda has also had notable volunteer and committee involvement in the technology sector with Women in Technology WA (WiTWA) and was the Lead for Techtrails – a STEM and Future Skills Program offering in-school excursions, with a focus on female career and role models.

Amanda has completed a Bachelor of Commerce (UWA) and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants as well as the Tax Practitioners Board and The Tax Institute.
