Eager to get a job, but not sure where to start? Our training programs offer a pathway to employment for Western Australians with disability and equip you with the core skills you’ll need the workplace.
There are two ways to train with Good Sammy Enterprises: through our Licence Programs and our specially designed Good Sammy Academy Programs. Our training is delivered by experienced and friendly professionals. We keep class sizes small so that every student receives the individual support and attention they need.

Having a licence to drive can open up more opportunities for employment. Whether you need a driver’s licence, a truck licence or a forklift licence, we can help!

Academy Programs
Our Academy Programs are foundational courses that teach key life skills for independent living and employability. Many of our Academy graduates go on to work for Good Sammy Enterprises and progress towards Open Employment.
The Work Ready program supports people with disability to prepare for entering the workforce.
Work Ready is an interactive training program designed for anyone with a disability who wants to improve their job finding skills or is seeking open employment.
Through a series of interactive workshops, participants will:
- Set career goals that align with personal interests and strengths
- Learn how to search for job opportunities
- Create resumes and cover letters that stand out
- Practice interview skills
- Gain the tools needed to succeed in finding and keeping a job
How long does the program run for?
The Work Ready program runs for 5 weeks (4 hour sessions).
What does it cost?
Our pricing is tailored to the individual support you need, starting at $1476.45. You will need the correct NDIS funding to join the Work Ready program. How do I apply?
Work Skills is a training program that focuses on developing essential workplace skills.
In the Work Skills program, you’ll develop important skills to help you enter a workplace with confidence.
Through 10 weekly interactive workshops, you will learn how to:
- Understand work routines and professional boundaries
- Learn about workplace health and safety
- Improve speaking, listening and online communication skills
- Build positive relationships with colleagues
- Learn how to work with a diverse team
The confidence and capability you’ll build through this foundational program will set you up for success as you move into further training or employment.
How long does the program run for?
The Work Skills program runs for 10 weeks. Sessions will run on Tuesdays, 9am to 1pm (4 hours).
What does it cost?
Our pricing is tailored to the individual support you need, starting at $1,926.85. You will need the correct NDIS funding to join the Work Skills program. How do I apply?
The DRIVE program combines road safety education with hands-on driving experience to help people with disability drive with confidence.
DRIVE is a 10-week course that prepares you to become a safe, confident driver. Designed with support and simplicity in mind, the program helps you get ready for your Learner’s Permit Theory Test and builds the skills needed to drive responsibly.
What you’ll learn:
- Understanding the rules. Learn how to stay safe and follow the road rules.
- Making smart choices. Discover how your decisions affect your driving.
- Staying safe. Understand how to reduce risks, including the effects of speed, alcohol, and other substances.
- Practical life skills. From choosing a driving instructor to buying your first car and managing costs.
- Test readiness. Take the Learner’s Theory Test in the final week with support.
How long does the program run for?
The DRIVE program runs for 10 weeks. If you pass your Learner’s Theory Test, you will be able to access practical driving lessons with qualified instructors and go on to take Practical Driving Assessments.
What does it cost?
We have limited free spots funded by the Road Safety Commission.
If you miss out, you can still join using your NDIS funding or paying in cash.
