Proudly launching our Statement of Lived Experience of Disability

At Good Sammy, we are committed to creating a more inclusive, understanding, and empowering world for people with disability.

We are proud to launch our Statement of Lived Experience of Disability, which was co-designed with members of Good Sammy’s Lived Experience and Happiness Advisory Committee (LEHAC) and many voices across our organisation representing people with disability, family, carers and colleagues.

The statement is more than words – it’s a reflection of our purpose and a promise to keep building a future where people with disability are seen, heard and empowered.

“This statement represents a defining moment in Good Sammy’s history,” said Kane Blackman, Chief Executive Officer at Good Sammy Enterprises.

“We’ll be acknowledging lived experience of disability more and more as we strive to transform workplaces and society through disability employment,” he said.

“Our heartfelt thanks to LEHAC members for their insight and honesty in shaping this message, and to Ian, Liz and Allana for being our first Statement ambassadors, sharing these powerful words across our community.”
