Our people
- 404 people with disability employed, 47.5% of the Good Sammy workforce
- 363 people with disability completing or completed a traineeship, training or Academy program
- 27 people with disability supported to obtain employment outside of Good Sammy
- 1.2 million customers served across our network of 31 retail stores
Our environmental impact
- 6 million kilograms of donated textiles and household items processed, with 80% returned to the circular economy
- 57 million containers recycled across 589 community recycling points
- 14,600 tonnes of CO2 saved
Moments that mattered
- Expanded our container recycling network to Jurien Bay, Cervantes, Lancelin, Woodridge, Gingin, Bindoon and Muchea.
- Took part in the Australian Human Rights Commission IncludeAbility project, assisted the Department of Justice to develop their Disability Access & Inclusion Plan for 2024-2029, and successfully campaigned the State Government to extend retail trading hours in Albany.
- Opened 7 new retail stores in Leederville, Halls Head, Mirrabooka, Busselton, Clarkson, Midland and Gosnells, and expanded our Factory Outlet.
- Launched a new training program DRIVE in partnership with the Road Safety Commission, and commenced a transformational capital upgrade thanks to Lotterywest.
- Formally launched Good Sammy’s Lived Experience of Disability Statement.
