Good Sammy expands property care services

Following the completion of a transaction with Dismantle Inc (Administrators Appointed) on 1 April, Good Sammy Enterprises has expanded and strengthened its commercial property maintenance operations in Western Australia, acquiring the assets of Dismantle’s property maintenance social enterprise, ReNew.

Supporting employment for at-risk youth

At the heart of this announcement, Good Sammy issued new employment contracts to all youth-at-risk and their supervisors who were previously employed in the social enterprise, securing employment opportunities for a vulnerable cohort of young people.

Good Sammy also successfully maintained customer contracts that underpin their employment.

Founded in 2019, ReNew Property Maintenance was established by Dismantle as a social enterprise creating employment opportunities for at-risk youth while delivering commercial landscaping and property maintenance services. Since inception, ReNew has grown to become one of Perth’s largest property care social enterprises, servicing private and government clients.

ReNew Property Maintenance will continue operating under the same name – now operated by Good Sammy Enterprises – so private and government clients can continue to access quality, trusted services while supporting meaningful social outcomes.

Strengthening pathways to work through inclusive property care

Good Sammy Enterprises Chief Executive Officer Kane Blackman said Good Sammy also operates a property care social enterprise delivered by people with disability, creating pathways to employment for people who face barriers to work.
