Grill’d Ascot helps Good Sammy with your support this September
This September, you can support Good Sammy simply by enjoying a burger at Grill’d Ascot.
Every day, Good Sammy creates jobs, training, and opportunities for people with disability. By shopping in our op shops, donating to our yellow donation hubs, recycling your 10c containers with us, or now voting for us at Grill’d, you’re helping us build a more inclusive and sustainable community.
How it works
Grill’d Ascot has chosen Good Sammy as part of its Local Matters program this month. For every burger you buy you’ll receive a Local Matters token. Place your token in the Good Sammy jar at the restaurant:
- The jar with the most votes receives $300
- The other two causes each receive $100
“Being part of Local Matters means the community can get behind our work in such a simple, enjoyable way,” said Good Sammy’s Sonia Nolan, Executive Manager – Marketing, Fundraising & Partnerships.
“Every token cast for Good Sammy helps us continue creating opportunities for people with disability across WA.”
Why it matters
The funds raised through this partnership will support our work to create employment opportunities for people with disability in WA. Every burger bought and every token placed in our jar contributes to building skills, boosting confidence, and supporting greater inclusion in the workplace.

This September, enjoy “the highway’s healthiest burgers, sides and good vibes” at Grill’d Ascot, and make sure to drop your token in the Good Sammy jar. Together, we can create more inclusive and stronger communities.
A big thank you to Grill’d Ascot for supporting Good Sammy and shining a light on disability inclusion this September.
